Appearance:
Regardless of his attire, Tobias has short spiked silver hair and gray emotionless eyes. He is of a rather slender build, though he is cut and powerful for his size. Still this frame makes him more adequate to focusing on speed than strength, despite him being rather balanced in both. Even his face is rather thin, Tobias having a narrow jaw and thin eyes. Still he had a broad chest, one of the indicators that he indeed is male and not a woman. Despite this though, he has an overall feminine quality to his appearance and may be mistaken for one at first glance.
As Tobias, he speaks with a higher pitched voice and wears casual clothes much like anyone else. Usually he’s found wearing a white button down shirt and dark gray pants. This outfit is often complimented with a pair of black shoes, comfortable yet stylish to fit this business casual look. When he disguises himself as Gabriel, he still wears a white button down shirt but it’s mostly hidden behind his long black jacket. The back of this jacket flows downward to his calves much like a cape, and instead of gray pants with comfortable shoes Gabriel now wears black pants with combat boots. Lastly he wears black gloves, and pulls up a mask from underneath his shirt to hide most of his face from others.

Personality:
Very withdrawn from others, Tobias tends not to express his emotions to others unless he’s already formed a close bond with them. This is further hampered by his not trusting very easily, making his network of people he’s consider friends rather small. He further protects himself with a veil of not caring, able to suddenly act like someone isn’t there without so much as a second thought. Typically Tobias likes to plan things out before he acts, knowing that rash action usually leads to deadly mistakes. Still, if there is a wrong that he can correct nearby he’ll correct it if it is within reason. Even them, he takes on the guise of Gabriel in order to do this so that no one knows that it’s him.
That being said, even though he is good at heart he’s accepted his role as a mercenary. Using his ability to disconnect from the world around him, he can commit evils if the job requires it of him. He used to feel a lot of guilt about this, but now that he’s accepted his fate he’s convinced himself that he doesn’t deserve any better than the job life has handed to him. Despite his preferring to plan things, when a problem in his life arises he will handle it on his own instead of asking for help to keep from being a bother to the tiny handful of people that he trusts. This shows that behind the confident, sometimes arrogant demeanor that he hides behind, Tobias is an emotionally vulnerable man that blames himself for what’s happens.
Perhaps his single greatest weakness is also his strength: the bond he has with those he cares for. They push him to continue on, give him the strength to accomplish the incredible feats he manages to perform. Still, if anything were to happen to any of them he would blame himself. This would lead to his further isolation, causing him to distance himself from his loved ones to hide the already well hidden connections between them and 'Tobias'. This way, they're safe from any enemies of 'Gabriel' that may have figured out who he is until they can be taken care of. This loneliness would only hurt him more in the long run, but it is due to his recognizing this that he uses a mask during his mercenary work. That way, no one will know who he is and thus would make it harder to find connections between him and the ones that he loves.
A typically quiet, yet loyal and powerful man, Tobias still holds to a moral code when accepting his missions. He usually doesn't kill those who cannot defend themselves, preferring to strike his enemies down quickly in battle instead of without honor in their sleep. His ability to silently sneak around is legendary, and his cold demeanor adds to his legendary status as a mercenary. All in all he is the perfect warrior, able to separate personal life from business while still standing up for what he believes in.

A thick katana, this blade has a hump in its base for one of two special types of ammunition that allow the weapon its unique set of attacks. They can bulge out of the blade to give its strike an element, or they can fold out and fire the attack at an opponent based on the particular ability being used.
- Tri Strike: The weapon is thrust forward in a stab, sharp edge pointing upward so an upward slash follows the initial strike. Ends with the blade being spun overhead, then driven downward at an opponent. Three post cool down.
- Fire Shot Level One: Two small fireballs are fired at an opponent that burst upon impact. One post cool down.
- Thunder Blade Level One: Electricity consumes the length of the blade, causing elemental damage upon striking an opponent. A connected strike dumps all of the attacks energy into an opponent to give them a small shock. One post cool down.
- Irradiance: Created from the essence of dreams, this energy causes the sword to glow. Does twice normal damage to a nightmare compared to a regular strike, but can be used to heal a Dream. Four post cool down.
- Night Terror: Created from the essence of nightmares, two powerful shots of energy are shot at an opponent. Does twice normal damage to a dream compared to a regular strike, but can be used to heal a Nightmare. Four post cool down.

History:
Tobias was born to a well off (but not rich) family in Suburbia, his life starting off not unlike most. His family took care of him, and he’d even been lucky enough to have made a contract with a Dream named Colouria. Things were wonderful for the young boy; even though he was shy he had a few close friends and a family that loved him. However one night when he was ten his best friend Wade suddenly changed, gaining a strange dark aura before attacking and slaughtering his family. Out of him emerged a Nightmare that then fought with his dream, and Tobias had to watch her sacrifice herself to save him before she died in his arms. Tobias was heartbroken, but despite having lost his best friend and his family to the Nightmare he still had a happy family in his aunt and uncle... Or so he thought.
Due to the lost of his sister and brother in law Tobias’s uncle descended to being a drunk, and it wasn’t long before he started beating his wife and nephew. This abuse only drove the boy further into depression, with the only solace he could find being in a young girl named Tara. Whenever he snuck out of the house she gave him a shoulder to cry on, and was the only friend he managed to have due to not being allowed out of the house except to go to school. She constantly cursed his uncle for what he did, promising him that she’ find a way to get him out of there and protect him like he deserved. He tried to tell her that maybe he deserved this and she needed to accept it, but she would have none of it. After a year she started to threaten to attack his uncle for the beatings, but after pleaing and begging Tobias was able to convince her just to spend time with him so he could be happy with her at least.
By the time he was fourteen the two of them started to like each other and began to secretly date, but as would be expected his uncle eventually found out and after beating Tobias forbade him from ever seeing her again. After a month of this Tara had enough of the separation, being driven mad by the thoughts was Tobias was being beaten and forced into unhappiness. Due to her overprotective nature and her love for him she snapped, and despite Tobias’s pleas she refused to listen and killed Tobias’s uncle like she had threatened to do months before. She then killed his aunt when she attacked Tara out of revenge for her husband’s death, after which she started ranting to Tobias about how they could finally live happily ever after. Tobias yelled at her for this, denouncing what she had done and then out of frustration due to what she believed to be his being unthankful she attacked the boy. Unable to defend himself she beat him nearly to death, but she couldn’t bring herself to kill him because of her love. Instead she killed herself, and once again Tobias found himself alone with the last person he loved dying in his hands.
This was the moment that Tobias finally decided to take his destiny into his own hands, that he wouldn’t let himself be weak anymore and that he would find a way to protect himself and others. He was too young to join the military so he started training himself, becoming proficient with his swordsmanship due to studying in the library and practicing with his wooden sword. Eventually the orphan was found by a man that offered to take him in, but the boy refused to trust him due to everything that had happened. Still the man didn’t give up, leaving meals out for the boy and after a month of this Tobias finally approached him to thank him. The man as just glad to see that Tobias was alright, and impressed by his progress promised to train the boy. Tobias was reluctant at first, remaining on the streets at the beginning of the training though eventually the man won out and Tobias moved in. Still, the more he thought about it the more Tobias worried that if he tried protecting people they would find out who he was and hurt the man because of him. This is where the masked alias of Gabriel was born.
The man’s name was Judas, and when Tobias was 18 he joined the man’s family business as a mercenary. He kept the mask on and went out as Gabriel to protect the family, but due to being followed home after one of the jobs he decided to move out on his own to have distance between them. This way his adoptive father would be safe, and Tobias would be able to continue his job as a mercenary without worrying about their safety.
