General Rules
Be respectful. Treat everyone kindly or, as the old saying goes, how you would like to be treated. Answer questions. Actively roleplay and plot. Be sincere.
This forum is rated PG-13. Please play within this realm, both in-character and out. No profane images, excessive cussing, and fade-to-black in place of sexual scenes.
Separate in-character scenarios from real life. When roleplaying, it is important not to blur the lines of fantasy and reality. How a character treats your own does not dictate that person's feelings toward you and it should be committed to memory that this is a game, nothing more.
Registering
Register with your character's first and last name (if applicable) with proper capitalization. Example; Bob Smith
Have a separate account for each character. With every new character you make, you should have a separate account for them.
You have one week to throw up a character profile before your account is deleted. You may register again, however.
Characters
Characters must be approved through the application process by a staff member before roleplaying.
You may have as many character as you'd like. So long as you can keep each character active. If, at any time, you would like to drop a character, simply PM a staff member and the character will be removed without consequence.
All face claims must be animanga in type. No real life actors or models.
Only 3 characters may have canon positions. While we have vast opportunity for both original and canon characters, we ask that you apply for only three canon positions, so that everyone has a chance to play with the canon concepts. (You do not, however, have to apply for any canon positions and all your characters can be completely original, if you so choose.)
Roleplaying
No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Perfect, flawless characters are frowned upon. A character should be well-rounded, with both weaknesses and strengths. No one is infallible.
No powerplaying and/or metagaming. Your character should not know things about another character that goes unsaid or in one's thoughts. Characters should not be overpowered and impossible to beat.
We are a no word count site. However, your word count will go to your character's experience, but bear in mind "quality over quantity" and posts should not be filled with unnecessary details and fluff. You will earn EXP based on your word count, but remember that your goal is to give your partner something worthwhile to read and reply to.
You may be in as many threads as you'd like. So long as you remain active in each of them.
Posts should be written in novel format: past tense, third person view. Example; Bob Smith walked down the street. "Hello," he said.
Warnings and punishment will be given out due to the circumstances and gravity of the situation.
